A Place to Breathe

He does not bring answers.
He opens the space where questions can finally breathe.
He does not lead.
He walks alongside.
He listens to what has not yet found words,
He watches over the fragments,
He holds the thread when it becomes too thin.
What happens in his office is not spectacular.
It is slow, subtle, alive.
A work of memory, of presence, of possibilities.
And sometimes,
at the bend of a silence,
something within remembers
that it always knew the way.
